Dermal Fillers Nottingham
Restore balance without changing your face. At Clinica Vitalis, dermal filler treatment is doctor-led and administered by Registered Nurse Chermaine following consultation and confirmation of clinical suitability.
The aim is not to make you look filled. It is to restore proportion, softness and support while respecting your natural anatomy.
Choose the right starting point
Before we talk about dermal fillers.
The first question is not whether you need filler. The first question is what is causing the change you are seeing.
Volume loss, skin quality, pigmentation, redness, texture and sun damage can overlap. If the concern is clearly injectable treatment, start with Nurse Chermaine. If the concern goes beyond volume or facial balance, start with Advanced Skin Analysis.

Book Advanced Skin AnalysisOur approach
Less is more, always.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can restore or support volume that has changed through ageing, weight change, genetics or facial structure.
At Clinica Vitalis, every filler treatment begins with a full facial assessment by Registered Nurse Chermaine within a doctor-led clinical framework. We look at proportions, bone structure, skin quality, fat compartment changes and facial movement before recommending anything.
We do not treat in isolation or follow trends. Our default is to use less than we could. The goal is to restore, not construct.
The request is usually simple: look fresher while still looking like yourself. That requires restraint, anatomy and honest advice.
Expected results
What dermal fillers can improve.
Facial balance
Subtle support to improve proportion between the cheeks, chin, jawline and lips.
Volume loss
Restoration of lost support in areas such as the cheeks, temples and midface.
Softer shadows
Improvement in selected hollows and folds caused by structural change.
Lip refinement
Hydration, definition and proportionate volume without creating an obviously filled look.
Contour
Careful enhancement of chin or jawline structure where appropriate.
Freshness
A rested, supported appearance rather than a dramatic transformation.
Treatment areas
Common areas we assess.
Cheeks
Midface support and volume restoration to improve facial structure and softness.
Tear troughs
Selected under-eye hollowness. This requires careful suitability assessment.
Nasolabial folds
Often better improved by treating facial support rather than directly filling the fold.
Lips
Hydration, definition and subtle volume in proportion to the rest of the face.
Jawline
Definition and support along the lower face where structure is suitable.
Chin
Projection and proportion, often assessed alongside the jawline and lips.
Treatment journey
What happens at your appointment.
Dermal filler treatment should never feel rushed. Safety, facial planning and realistic expectations come first.
Assessment
We assess your face at rest and in movement, then discuss what is realistic.
Planning
We explain the areas, product type, volume, risks and alternatives.
Treatment
Product is placed using needle or cannula depending on the area and safety plan.
Recovery
Mild swelling or bruising is common, especially around lips and under-eyes.
Review
A review is available at around two weeks where clinically appropriate. Further treatment is not automatic and depends on assessment.
Safety
Reversible, but never casual.
We use hyaluronic acid fillers, which may be dissolved with hyaluronidase where clinically indicated. Emergency medicines and an appropriate complication pathway are available for filler treatment.
Common effects include swelling, tenderness, bruising and temporary asymmetry. Rare but serious risks, including vascular occlusion, are discussed before treatment.
We assess lips in relation to the whole face. If your goal is a dramatic increase in lip size, we may not be the right clinic for you, and we will say so honestly.

Fees
Prices are confirmed at consultation. The amount required depends on anatomy, treatment goals and clinical suitability.
Tear trough treatment, filler dissolution and other specialist plans are priced separately after consultation and are not included in the standard area prices above.

FAQ
Questions patients often ask.
Who administers dermal fillers at Clinica Vitalis?
Dermal filler treatment is administered by Registered Nurse Chermaine within a doctor-led medical clinic, after consultation and confirmation of clinical suitability.
How much do dermal fillers cost in Nottingham?
Lip enhancement starts from £149 for 0.55 ml, cheek enhancement starts from £319 for 1 ml, jawline definition starts from £349 for 1 ml, and a 2 ml facial rejuvenation plan is £549. The exact plan is confirmed after consultation.
Is filler painful?
Topical anaesthetic can be used for sensitive areas. Many HA fillers also contain lidocaine. Lips are usually the most sensitive area.
How long does it last?
Duration varies by area, product and metabolism. Lip filler often lasts 6–9 months; structural cheek or jawline filler may last 12–18 months.
What are the risks?
Bruising, swelling and temporary asymmetry are common. Rare but serious risks include vascular occlusion. We discuss this fully and carry hyaluronidase at every appointment.
Can old filler be dissolved?
Yes. In some cases we recommend dissolving old or misplaced filler before adding more. A waiting period may be needed before re-treatment.
How much filler will I need?
We do not treat by volume targets. We assess your anatomy and explain what amount is appropriate before treatment.
