The Observ 520x uses multiple illumination modes to examine the skin beyond what standard light reveals. Each mode is designed to make visible a different layer or characteristic of the skin's condition.

Six views. One complete picture.
Standard clinical observation uses a single light source. The Observ 520 uses six, each making a different characteristic of the skin visible. Together, they reveal what would otherwise remain undetected until a later stage.
Surface texture
Reveals pore structure, skin roughness, and surface irregularities not visible under standard lighting.
Pigmentation
Identifies melanin distribution, early sun damage, and pigmented lesions that have not yet reached the surface.
Vascular activity
Makes visible early redness, vascular irregularity, and inflammatory patterns beneath the surface.
UV fluorescence
